Calendar Information
- What We Access: Read-only access to your calendar events (when permission is granted)
- Why We Access It: To automatically associate trips with business meetings and appointments
- How It's Used: Calendar data is only accessed to match trip times with events; we do not store calendar content
Motion and Activity Data
- What We Collect: Device motion sensors to detect when you're driving
- Why We Collect It: To automatically start and stop trip recording
- How It's Used: Motion data triggers trip recording; the data itself is not stored
Vehicle and Trip Data
- What We Collect: Vehicle information you enter (make, model, year, license plate), trip distances, dates, times, and purposes
- Why We Collect It: To maintain accurate mileage logs for tax and reimbursement purposes
- How It's Used: Stored locally on your device for report generation

- Your data is included in your iCloud backups (if enabled)

The only external communication is:
- Fetching current fuel prices from public APIs (no personal data is sent)

- Remove the app to delete all local data

TripIQ is not intended for use by children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
